The Institute for Data Science offers apprenticeships in software development. Apprentices have the opportunity to work on international research projects.
Volunteers with or without a scientific background may participate in our research projects as citizen scientists. Engagement is possible at different levels of complexity – from quite simple to really challenging. Current citizen science projects are listed at raumschiff.org
We love to engage with people of any background. We offer extracurricular activities, workshops, talks and discussions, and co-operate with other organizations to carry out exciting public projects. Some of the activities are developed, and take place, at Raumschiff – the Maker-Space for Astronomy.
